EUROPEAN HEALTH INSURANCE CARD (EHIC)

We would also strongly recommend that everyone takes with them an EHIC. This card will allow you to receive free or reduced cost emergency health care while abroad and reduce the risk of you having to pay for treatment on the spot and then make a claim on your return to the UK. Application forms are available from your local Post Office or from www.ehic.org.uk.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

It is the responsibility of the group leader to ensure that all members of the group are in possession of valid passports and visas if necessary. Holders of non-British passports should check with the Embassy or Consulate of the country the group are traveling to or through.
