Travel Insurance

The price does not include travel insurance. You cannot travel with us unless you are insured. You are responsible for arranging your own insurance and you must send us the details before your booking can be confirmed.

You are unlikely to obtain cover for the cost of any medication or treatment which you knew you would need at the time the tour began, nor for any other expense relating to it. 

Most insurers will not accept claims that are attributable to any circumstances you knew about when taking out the insurance – especially if the condition or circumstances could reasonably have been expected to give rise to a cancellation or curtailment of the trip. This includes being on a waiting list for in-patient treatment in a hospital or nursing home. 

If you are in any doubt about your fitness to travel you should talk to your GP before booking – you may invalidate your travel insurance if you do not. Premiums vary according to the insurer, destination, duration and your age.
