Heroes Return 2 Tours

The Big Lottery are again making funds available for WWII veterans to visit where they saw active service. This remarkable grant scheme enables veterans, their spouse and a carer to return to where they served in the UK or overseas with substantial funds being made available towards the cost of travel and accommodation.

And Poppy Travel are uniquely placed to help veterans with their travel plans.

In 2004/5, we were the principal advisors to the MoD and Big Lottery for Heroes Return Mk 1 and we have again assisted the Big Lottery in establishing the grant levels and compiling the Question and Answer sheet for this new version.

Veterans can travel in a group or individually and travel can be taken between now and 31 December 2010. Applications for funding must be received by The Big Lottery before the end of January 2011. To apply, call the special Heroes Return 2 help line on 0845 00 00 121.
