Field Marshal Montgomery’s bold plan for Operation Market Garden visualised three airborne divisions capturing the bridges across Holland's great rivers, paving the way for Allied troops to advance on Germany.

The goal was to end the war by Christmas 1944, but the result was disastrous. Of the 10,000 men parachuted into Arnhem only 2,000 survived. This tour pays homage to those who fought so heroically and to the Dutch people who rushed to their aid.

We follow the route to the 'Bridge Too Far' and the drop zones and glider landings outside Arnhem.
