Our tour honours those who fought and died in the brave defence of Ceylon against the Japanese. Personal visits to four major war cemeteries can be arranged and there is ample time for exploring this lush, tropical island.

Highlights include:
  • Visit Liverarmentu and Kannate War Cemeteries followed by lunch at Colombo Swimming Club
  • Service of Remembrance with our Standard Bearer on parade at Kandy War Cemetery, followed by reception
  • Kandy, last capital of the Sinhala Kings - visit Peredeniya Gardens, Lord Mountbatten's HQ, Temple of the Tooth, pageant and fire-walking show
